- Coordinate and expand the current 20 courses-per-year programme of Adult Health & Fitness courses including Gym Instruction, S&C, Personal Trainer, Nutrition, Sports Massage, Pre and Post Natal - delivered face-to-face & online
- Initially 1–2 days per week with the opportunity to teach, mark and assess on courses the applicant is qualified to deliver, if desired
- Delivery days are on Saturdays at Wigan Warriors Gym & Robin Park Leisure Centre

Role Overview
An experienced, motivated and organised fitness professional is sought to join our management team on a part-time basis, co-ordinating, developing and helping manage the Competence Adult Health & Fitness courses operation from our Robin Park Leisure Centre premises. This is a flexible but demanding role suited to someone already working within the fitness industry who is looking for the opportunity to transition into management with real growth potential and has the organisational and communication skills to handle detail reliably and effectively.
The role includes:
- proactively managing online course enquiries and learner applications
- accepting learners, controlling registration and monitoring progress
- supporting learners and helping resolve issues from delivery days (Saturdays)
- coordinating freelance tutors, learners, assessors and course operation
- liaising with venue managers at Wigan Warriors ; Robin Park Leisure Centre
Your Qualifications and Experience
A balanced mix from the following essential or desirable skills, experience and qualifications:
- significant experience within the health, fitness or physical activity sector
- calm organisational and communication skills with the ability to handle detail
- ability to manage multiple stakeholders including tutors, learners, venues and IV
- experienced deliverer of health and fitness qualifications
- Industry certificates in Gym Instruction, Fitness, Coaching, Nutrition or Sports Massage Assessor qualification (A1/D32/D33 or TAQA equivalent)
- PGCE, Certificate or Diploma in Education or equivalent
- experience working with awarding bodies and learner registration processes
- experience in a coordination, management or administration role within training
